Slow Computer Fix | Simple Ideas
Hold on now and check this out:
Today computer and internet skills are very important to our everyday lives. We need enough knowledge to do a simple slow computer fix to our own computer. We face almost daily many repair type issues that can be measured not only with what it cost us in money but also in our stress level. It takes so long to do things on a computer that is not cooperating!
It’s the times we live in. Like it or not our lives are virtually controlled by computers. And it seems that when there is a slow computer issue it takes hours of wasted time away from things we would rather be doing. Computers give us the ability to do many things we cannot do without them and we cannot imagine our lives now without them. So we need to keep them functioning as they should and at an adequate speed.
Save Time: We recommend a Test for computer errors by going to Free Computer Registry Scan and clicking “Download Now”. The scan will cost you nothing and will tell you the condition of your computer.
Depending on the amount of errors found you will have to decide if you need to purchase and run the software. Registry software is a good thing to have on your computer in the future as well to keep it running fast and smooth. These problems may very well reappear if you don’t.
One factor can be unneeded programs:
From the start when your PC was brand new, there were programs pre-loaded by the computer company that you do not want or need. They all do it. In fact my best computer have been the ones I have had built by local people or shops by assembling components to my specs. That way I didn’t get the “garbage”. The pre-built brand name computers have all sorts of stuff I do not want. Some of these installed programs are always running in the back ground. And this can especially slow down computer start up time.
But what can you do now about this now? Probably the best solution to these “extra” programs is to let a professional clean them out of your computer for you. It can be hazardous to do too much program deleting for the average computer user.
Another factor can be memory storage:
This involves two types of computer memory that can make your computer slow down. The fix is either installing more memory or eliminating some of the data you are storing. The longer you work your computer the more data is stored away. Windows XP stores data in as many as five separate locations. It seems that our computers now have a tremendous about of capacity compared to say ten years ago, but the computer requires so much more as well.
Data is stored in different drives and by numerous different applications of your computer. As with any storage facility it is important for this to be organized. Even with plenty of space or room for storage, if it is not organized or optimized it will not be efficient and slow down your computer.
Learn more about hard disk and random access memory:
The two types of memory are your computer’s hard disk and its RAM or random access memory. Simply put the hard disk is where data is stored permanently, or long term, and the RAM is short term memory. A friend of mine had a computer that was bought as a “bargain” and did not have enough RAM. It had plenty of hard disk capacity but was slow because the amount of RAM the company included was way too small. It took almost all the RAM to run the operating system and left none for other applications to run. This problem was solved by buying more RAM memory and physically installing it in the computer.
Who has access to your computer:
Limiting outside access to your computer is a big part of preventing slow computer problems from happening in the future. If you use your computer for work or it is connected to a network system you should be even more careful. Someone on in the network or someone that has access to the network could be able to reach and see your personal information and you would not know about it.
What about the computer’s registry?
Cleaning, or optimizing, the registry can help remove unnecessary information and that can be a slow computer fix also. The more you do with your computer the more the registry becomes cluttered. Have you done much adding or removing programs? The problem is when we try to remove or uninstall something from our computers we are not really removing it. It just doesn’t remove it all and some parts of it remain. Clearing the computer’s trash bin does not get rid of it either.
Registry cleaning is really very simple and may be the best thing for you to do at this point. Don’t wait getting help for your slow computer. With a windows registry cleaner I feel safer and my computer performs better as well.
For more information on the registry cleaner we recommend go to Error Fix.

| Why not just Run Error Fix Free Scan now to help your computer’s performance and reduce your anxiety level with your PC? |

In the illustration above the scan found 102 errors in this slow computer fix. I had a computer that it found almost 1000 errors!! And a second that had over 600! I also ran the scan on a newer computer and found almost no errors. This proved to me that the scan is legitimate and not going to show you errors that don’t exist to sell you the product.
Once you see the number of errors you can then decide if you want to purchase the software and let it correct your errors. Also after purchasing Registry Easy it will periodically scan your computer and keep your registry optimized and clean in the future. I found it to be a good investment.

Music Downloads Can Make Your Computer Slow!
This is some good advise if you do any music downloads.
Not only will music downloads slow your computer down it can do even more damage. I lost a computer a few years back. Well, I killed a computer would be a better description. We are avid music fans. Led Zep is the greatest of all times! Finding obscure songs and versions is a great hobby and is very addicting. So using P2P download sites was not only fun but also irresistible. And I was not as cautious as I should have been.
I guess we have tried and used almost every P2P download site. The main site I used was good until the regulations forced them to cancel my “lifetime” membership. But all the rest of the sites have been poor to terrible. Still we kept trying different ones and kept getting computer problems. It definitely made our computer slow. Eventually, not knowing anything to do, I gave up on this computer and got a new one. But then it wasn’t long before the new one showed problems as well. I had to get serious about protecting it.
What I did was simple. I started using Avast anti-virus program. Avast is a free software for home use. They also have a commercial program but I have only used the free version. Avast does a “boot” scan that is very effective. A boot scan is a scan that’s run before your computer opens up Windows. The scan finds viruses that other programs do not.
I would also advise a spy-ware / mal-ware protection program as well. I used StopZilla for this and it has done good. In fact it will stop too much if you set the protection level too high. There are times I will cut off the pop-up protection.
The last thing I did, as mention above, is a registry organizer program. Registry Easy is the best for this.
